Welcome to the Spring 2024 edition of our newsletter.
We have enjoyed welcoming new children into our nursery. This week we are enjoying making our own pancakes and tasting them too! We are feeling all loved this week celebrating Valentines day, we have enjoyed talking about who is special to us, exploring different textures and sensory bags. We love being outdoors together, making our own constructions using open ended resources such a logs, blanks, pipes and materials.
We have Meet 'n' Greet coming up in March, please ask Irene or Leanne if you would like an appointment to meet with your child's keyworker to discuss their development.
We offer funded places for eligible 2,3 and 4 year old's, from September 2024 government funding will be extended from 9 month's old. Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for more information and to apply for your funding code.
Please ensure your child brings weather appropriate clothing to nursery( including hats, gloves, sun cream, coats, wellies etc). If your child is potty training please provide them with plenty of changes of clothes to see them through the nursery day. If you borrow nursery clothing please return it ASAP as we sometimes run short. Often our children come into nursery wearing similar or the same clothing, please can we ask for your support by labelling your child’s clothing to avoid them going missing or getting mixed up, thank you.
Week commencing Monday 15th July 2024 is our non funded week, children that attend on a government funded space term time only will not attend nursery this week. We do have some availability for children to attend this week on a paid basis, please speak to Irene or Leanne if you are interested.
To enter our Easter competition please help your child make / decorate an Easter bonnet. Please send a photo of your child's entry by Wednesday 27th March 2024. We will be closed on Good Friday 29th March and reopen on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 to enjoy our Easter break. Our Easter raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 27th March, please send all monies and one side of the raffle ticket back into nursery by Tuesday 26th March. Thank you for your continued support.
